Display Area - The Gallery comprises 112 square metres (1,200 sq ft) of prime display area and 50 linear metres (164ft) of wall hanging space.
The main space is particularly versatile and open plan. In front of the large street facing window there is a large double sided display stand, measuring 150cm high by 303cm wide (approximately 5x10ft), for exhibiting works in the window and behind.
A special feature of the Gallery is the picture hanging system in place to facilitate the display of two-dimensional wall-mounted work. A quantity of discreet white enamelled strengthened steel hanging rods is provided allowing pictures to be hung with ease and without marking the walls.
Lighting is by individual halogen lamps on a fully adjustable overhead track lighting system. There is a mixture of different flood lights and spot lights for clients to use.
Facilities - The Gallery is fully furnished with tables and chairs, basic crockery, glasses and cutlery, as well as a fridge-freezer. There is a small kitchenette, a loo, and a large basement area which is for storage purposes only.
A telephone, as well as a wireless and broadband internet connection, is available for use by clients, and, for security purposes, a CCTV system has been installed. There is also a Red-Care Alarm system that is linked to the central police station and the security company.
Services - Premier Art Spaces are happy to advise on any aspect of organising an exhibition and have a mailing list available for clients to use.
